Just prior to the incident driver had parked and pulled out his ramp and cones Once he ascertained where the first part of his delivery was he moved to the freezer ladder and platform where the injury occurred

Driver arrived at first stop of the day Attempted to pull out ladder and platform for freezer section of trailer Ladder was jammed in stowing slot Attempted with constant pull motion yanking intermittently and even attempted to loosen the ladder by beating on it When ladder finally released enough to get inside trailer soreness and pain ensued Driver presumed it was just brief pain but has remained sore and painful through subsequent weeks
