I was standing in position to help pull patient over to Stretcher for discharge

What happened

on [REDACTED] I assisted with the transfer of a 450lb patient with medic and other teammates A sally slide device was used shortly after assisting with the transfer my shift ended for the day As I arrived home I felt lower back pain but didnt think much of it I was scheduled for work the following day [REDACTED] and struggled to walk from the parking deck up to the unit One teammate asked if I could assist with a bath and thats when I realized I had been hurt really bad it was extremely painful and difficult for me to assist with the bath being that I was in immense pain shooting from my lower back on the right side down to my legs with a tingling feeling The pain was so intense tears started to flow from my eyes My charge nurse allowed me to leave work at [REDACTED] for further evaluation as I was scheduled for 12hrs that day I was later diagnosed with sciatica nerve damage
