What happened
On [REDACTED] at around [REDACTED] I was drawing blood from a patient When removing the needle from the patient I dropped the needle on the bed As I went to pick up the butterfly needle by the safety the patient had rolled over towards me and the needle had moved towards me as well causing me to be stuck by the needle After realizing I had been stuck I immediately washed my hands with soap and water and contacted the house supervisor who instructed me to call teammate health
