What happened

We responded to a Mecklenburg Cunty scene call After packaging the patient I encountered difficulty loading the patient into the aircraft My partner and I swapped positions so he attempted to load the patient while I was on the inside of the aircraft ventilating the patient since they were intubated My partner attempted to load the stretcher once and was unsuccessful He attempted a second time and was successful but when the stretcher was being secured into place the wheel and metal bar came ran over my right foot pinning it diagonally against the floor and side of the interior wall of the aircraft I was able to extricate my foot from under the stretcher and removed it from being pinned against the wall but was unable to bare weight on it due to the severe pain
