During the [REDACTED] the employee first noticed pain in the left shoulder while working to disconnect and break bolts on the secondary side of [REDACTED]. The employee could not remember the specific date due to several days having passed before reporting the pain but based off the task being accomplished at the time and the calendar of work it can be reasonably concluded that the date of first sign of pain was [REDACTED]. The Employee states no specific incident or event that occurred only that this was when pain was first noticed in the left shoulder which had already been previously injured during prior military service (End of Service [REDACTED]). The employee stated that because this was not unusual because of prior injury they chose to self-medicate with prescription medication (500mg Naproxen 2x day and 10mg Cyclobenzaprine at home in the evenings) that had already been prescribed to take on an as needed basis for shoulder pain and chose to work through the pain.
