Removing Stainless from material handlers tracks

[REDACTED] was loading stainless steel into a barge at the berth. Between loads TM 2 called over the radio to inform [REDACTED] that some of the material looked like it had begun to wrap the pedestal of his machine and he may want to clear it. [REDACTED] exited the [REDACTED] and began removing the thin stringy material by hand. [REDACTED] removed two of the pieces that were laying across that material handler track and went to grab the third piece that slid in between the material handlers tracks. As he pulled the piece out he felt discomfort in his left middle finger. When he removed the leather (not cut resistant) glove he was wearing he noticed the material had cut the tip of his finger. He was taken to the clinic and was given 5 stitches.
