Loosening a tube on a JLG fuel tank that had failed leak test and has been dispositioned as scrap.

The assembler was using a wrench that is approximately 16 inches in length to remove the component from the fuel tank working with the part at her waist level. As she pushed down on the wrench to remove the fuel tube she heard a 'pop ' which her coworker heard as well and she immediately felt pain in her left shoulder.

Left Shoulder strain. Later determined to be a torn rotator cuff.

The downward pressure used with the wrench required in removing the fuel tube from the tank requiring disassembled.
