I was doing my morning rounds I went to check and change the said resident I let the resident know what I was about to do before doing it because I didnt know how he would react to touch nor his true mental state So I proceeded to uncover him and check his brief it was soiled so i began to turn the resident to clean his bottom While holding the resident over he started hitting at me and pushed back when he pushed back it bent my wrist that was prominently holding him over back I resumed cleaning resident but I did instantly feel pain I went home and put ice and brought a wrist stabilizer for my shift tonight5042023 I worked my scheduled shift [REDACTED] but the pain continued to get worst so I came to employee health
