Noticed smoke coming rear-passenger side of trailer and safely pulled over to the shoulder. Grabbed fire extinguisher and ran back to put out potential fire. Crawled underneath the trailer to get better access to the source of the heat and to deploy the extinguisher. While underneath inside trailer tandem tire exploded with EE directly in front of it.
