Securing the patient onto the stretcher.

The EE was lifting a 600 lb + patient into the ambulance that was on the stretcher and the coworker was pressing button the wheel stopped - 3 quarters way up couldn’t get wheels up right away - stretcher over the threshold like a shock hold holding it. He finally pushed button but they were tiled down he was at waistline with leg lifting patient. The stretcher has to be fully retracted in order to slide it into the ambulance. He had to get it up levels to get the patient into the ambulance.
