EE had backed into a client 's driveway in his transit vehicle on an assigned route. EE backed up too far causing his tires to go into the yard which was soggy wet from snow and snow melt.

EE attempted to get the vehicle out of the yard by placing concrete 16 x 16 pavers and a tree branch under the tires for traction.

EE suffered an injury to his right middle finger at the first joint near the tip. Physician calls it a mallet finger on the Visit Summary.

16 x 16 concrete pavers caused the injury.

EE went to pick up client. Backed up too far and tires went into yard which was soggy from snow melt. Tried to get van out by placing 16 x 16 pavers and tree branch under tires. Noticed middle finger right hand would not straighten out at 1st joint.
