At 1 workstation the employee uses a pair of vice grips to hold a metal Stake a small tool for peening metal. He holds the vice grips with his left hand and then hits the top of the stake with a hammer. At his 2nd workstation he holds a part down with one hand vertically while the other hand pushes the part through a manual chamfering operation. This also caused a strain on his forearm.

It 's a repetitive motion repetitive stress injury. Holding the vice grips tightly and hitting the stake with a hammer caused shock to go into his arm. Pushing parts through the chamfering tool while holding down with the left hand helped cause this.

Employee has a strain of the flexor muscle in his forearm and tendon of his left thumb.
