What happened
A Polish Trainee was operating a bicycle sander on a crankshaft when they struck the edge of the counterweight. This caused the sander to kick back hitting the team member in the chest and chin. Initially the team member declined first aid and medical attention. However at night the team member experienced increasing chest pain prompting a visit to the ER. Following x-rays and additional medical tests the team member was diagnosed with blunt chest trauma and symptoms of a concussion.
