What happened

TM was cleaning the Boiler around [REDACTED]. Half of the boiler was a solid piece of ash from dirt being on fuel. TM had to swing the spud bar weighing approximately 50 LB to try and break it up which means bending over and ramming it into the boiler below waist and twisting at the same time. TM initially felt a small pop in lower back but no pain was noticed at the time. Throughout the day the pain progressively got worse.
