Before the incident
I was in my classroom without students. I heard a HOLD announced over the intercom and concerning talk on the walkie talkie so I went into the hallway outside my classroom to see if anyone needed help.
What happened
I ran after a student after my principal yelled that the student had a knife. She ran into the bathroom and locked herself in the bathroom stall. We saw blood on the floor. I decided to slide under the bathroom

No injury to myself but I had her blood all over my hands and face. Blood contact was made to my skin and I had small open cuts on my hand.
