Before the incident
Employee was attempting to troubleshoot issue with the master bundle stacker.
What happened
The employee removed a piece of guarding on the back side of the machine and stepped on top of a fan enclosure. As they were standing inside the area the machine actuated. The drive shaft rod moved back toward the employee and struck them in their right lower leg ankle causing them to fall on top of the enclosure. The rod then moved forward pinning the employee 's right arm between the rod and top of the enclosure they were laying on.
