Replacing an air solenoid on the robot at press #24. Maintenance Tech was working from the top step of a three-step handrail ladder. He was in the motions of coming down the ladder when he slipped from the second step and fell backwards. He attempted to grab the robot cage but was unable to stabilize himself and then continued falling backward landing simultaneously on his left hip to which he had his radio clipped and his left elbow.
