What happened
The employee was giving a break to the divider operator and while he was there the bread divider started producing doubles the employee stated the doubles kept getting worse so he shut the machine off hit the E-Stop and removed the front guard that covers the pistons. The employee cleaned the piston area and then cleaned the discharge belt he went to put the guard back on and since his hands had some mineral oil on them the guard slipped out of his hand at approximately waist level (3 ft) and landed on his left big toe. The employee came in and reported the accident to the supervisor but stated he thought his toe would be okay.
