Employee was transiting through [REDACTED] (1-174-01-L) Port Side onboard [REDACTED] ([REDACTED]). JSR Carpenter Shop Employee arrived at [REDACTED] (2-183-2-T) ladder with a bag of tools and a bucket of SHIMS in his left hand while attempting to descend down the vertical ladder (stairs) leading to the vestibule at the entrance of Main [REDACTED] # 1 (4-174-0-E). While descend down the vertical ladder the employees feet slipped from under him he slid down the entire vertical ladder and landing at the bottom of vestibule which resulted in an injury to his left leg.
