A break relief employee was trying to ensure pans were fed into the Moulders. The divider had stopped and the employee reset the moulders from the control panel. The employee entered the moulder area then walked towards the sheeter area to push the pans by hand.

While doing so the employee 's right hand was caught in between the ladder handrail and the Moulder 1 pull cord E Stop and frame. This resulted in a laceration of the right middle finger and a fracture.
