The employee and a co-worker were loading coils into their storage bin and onto [REDACTED].

The employees lifted a pallet of 3 metal coils with a crane. When the pallet was upright in a vertical position they cut the supporting strap and released the sling to remove the pallet. They proceeded to resecure one metal coil of 2.25 leaving the other 2 unsecured. The unsecured coils tipped over and the injured team member tried to stop the coil from falling with their left side hip.

Left hip sprain and contusion. Tear of medial meniscus of knee.
