What happened
On [REDACTED] at around [REDACTED] an employee stated that they were grinding burrs on LCD housing parts when a foreign body flew off and went under their safety glasses. The employee used eye drops to flush the right eye but didn’t notice anything or experience any discomfort on the eye until the [REDACTED]. Once management was notified several attempts were made to remove flush out the foreign body before the employee was sent to the eye doctor. On [REDACTED] the doctor was able to safely remove the metal off the eye without incident. Out of an abundance of caution the doctor recommended an antibiotic eye drops to avoid infection.
