Monitoring traffic

Employee was monitoring traffic in a marked squad parked on the side of the road for approx 30min. While sitting in park employee was leaning their right elbow on the center console armrest making it load-bearing by leaning some weight on their elbow. After employee decided to move locations they went to reach for the gear shifter and felt extreme pain coming from their shoulder as they extended their arm out to the point where they could not move the shifter without help from their left hand.
