What happened

teammate was cleaning around the scarf chopper on the beam line where metal scarfing residue tends to accumulate. Teammate grabbed the metal scarfing with a welding glove in place when he pulled the metal scarfing it cut through the welding glove and caused a deep laceration on his left index finger on the palm side.
