What happened

At approximately [REDACTED] EE was going northbound on [REDACTED] when employee 's vehicle was rear ended. EE was roughly where [REDACTED] intersects with the [REDACTED] at time of incident. EE was in the right most lane with two cars ahead of them when the front-most car came to an abrupt stop unexpectedly. The middle car swerved to the right into the emergency lane to avoid contact with the front-most car. EE states they were approximately two car lengths behind the middle car and had plenty of time to hit the brakes. EE progressively came to a stop to avoid an accident. As EE was slowing down for the stop the car behind AB driver did not hit the brakes in time rear-ending driver. EE pulled into emergency lane and shared information with other vehicle. Other party was not injured at time of incident and no cars were towed from incident site.
