Employee dropped a pepper bacon slab on the loading table and believes a piece of black coarse ground pepper bounced from the table to the inside of his glasses and entered his eye. Employee noticed eye irritation [REDACTED].

Injury or illness

Foreign body of coarse ground pepper in conjunctival sac left eye. Physician removed particle with a cotton swab and administered a topical antibiotic.
