IW was grabbing tools and equipment from the back of truck bed. As he grabbed the band saw with his right hand and attempted to close the tailgate with his left hand he felt the band saw start to fall from his grip. He attempted to grab it with his left hand and stop it from falling when his right hand engaged the saw turning it on and causing the saw to contact 3 fingers on his left hand.
