Walking through the parking lot.

What happened

Team member exited his vehicle and was walking towards the [REDACTED] to clock in for the day to begin work. While walking across the parking area the team member slipped on a patch of ice and fell to the ground on his left shoulder. He felt pain in his left shoulder heard noise and felt tingling. Three other Millwrights were in the area and helped him to his feet. The incident was immediately reported to the Maintenance Supervisor whom in turn notified the Safety Manager that the incident occurred and the team member requested to be seen as he could not move his left arm well. Team member was seen at ER given x-ray finding no breaks or dislocation and diagnosed as left shoulder pain. Team member and Safety Manager discussed having restricted work available however the Dr removed the team member from work for a few days and placed the left arm in a sling. Recommended follow up with orthopedic. On [REDACTED] conditions were clear trace snow with temps close to freezing. [REDACTED] a dus
