Employee dropped a screwdriver into a packing lane and was trying to retrieve it with packing lane in operation.

Employee reached under the packing ledge of the packing lane to retrieve the screwdriver he dropped. As he reached his finger got caught in moving chain.

Initially just a severe laceration but later the damaged portion of the finger had to be amputated.
