What happened
Employee stated that their right wrist began bothering them while pulling the stack of foam sheets from the conveyor prior to placing them through the ripsaw. During the investigation it was noted that one of the conveyor motors bringing the foam sheets to the operator had been taken out of service due to motor failure and took over a week to get the new motor in to be replaced. During that time there were no extra conveyors so a wood table was put in place to fill the gap at the end of the line to reduce the potential for a back injury. The table caused more force to be applied by the operator when pulling on the foam sheets.
