What happened
An incident occurred where scrap material was accumulating around the extruder. An employee operated a forklift to push and compress the scrap towards the baler. The forklift approached the area slowly and began pushing the material. During this process the baler operator felt the scrap cart press against his leg potentially forcing his leg into the baler. The baler operator continued working for approximately 8 minutes before needing to lie down due to increasing pain.
