Employee PTA therapist was working with patient in therapy session. Return to gym to document. Patient was left outside in courtyard with husband and dog.
What happened
Therapist returned to pt to take pt back to their room. Patient and husband were outside in the courtyard when therapist approached and began to ready the patient to push back to their room. The small white dog jumped off patients lap where was sitting in the wheel chair rain around the wheel chair then bit he therapist in the left outer thigh.
