What happened
Employees was on top deck next to kettle#1 getting ready to foam the kettles. When employee went to turn on the former it snap back at him hitting his safety glasses off that 's when the chemical got in his left eye employee was not wearing his safety shield at the time. He quickly went and started rising his eye for 15min. The kitchen head cook came and got me to let me know what just happened. I asked employee what happened he said that he was holding the hose from the foamer not the metal section that 's why the hose snap back when he turned it on.
