Employee was transferring the Conformal Coat Mixture from the Storage Tank to the Smaller Tanks vessels.

What happened

Employee was transferring the Conformal Coat Mixture from the Storage Tank to the Smaller Tanks vessels used on the Conformal Coat machines. The storage tank was under pressure for transferring the material between tanks when Employee released the valve to clean the transferring components (before depressurizing the tank). The pressurized chemical was released onto Employee 's face and clothing. Employee 's supervisor came to Employees assistance and immediately got an eye-wash bottle and started to flush [REDACTED] 's Face & Eyes. HR assisted the Supervisor with getting Employee to an eye wash station and had him flush his eyes. Emergency medical was called and arrived onsite to assist. They ultimately transported the Employee to the hospital for treatment.
