a.Location:  Carl T. Hayden Medical Center  Nurses, Respiratory
therapists and
physicians working in wards 2c, 4c and 4d were exposed to the hazard of
being
infected with tuberculosis through contact with patients who were or may
be
infected with tuberculosis in that AFB isolation rooms are under positive
pressure.
Feasible and useful abatement methods for reducing this hazard, as
recommended
by the Centers for Disease Control, among others are maintaining AFB
isolation
rooms and areas in which high hazard and appropriately
