Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to:
(a) For employees working in the basket of a Genie boom supported aerial
lift and
exposed to a potential fall hazard of approximately 30 feet created by the
lack of fall
protection.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard would
be to follow the American National Standards Institute ANSI/SIA
A92.5-1992, Section
8.8, Responsibilities of Operators During Operation.
