to the lack of
guardrails around the base.  Among other methods, one feasible and
acceptable method
to correct this hazard would be to install guardrails around the base of
each
manlift.
(c) Employees were exposed to a potential fall hazard in the west elevator
while
operating the manually operated manlift due to the damaged and frayed
rope.  Among
other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard
would be to
install a new rope.
