Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. Receive injuries due to fall from a work platfform on the top of a gasoline truck, plate #95292 A, at 10 feet 9 inches high from the ground level (45 feet long X 33 inches wide), when the employee do his work as a weigher. Among other method, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is instaling a turnbuckle cable as part of a personal fall arrest system. a. Recibir lesiones debido a caidas de una plataforma de trabajo en el techo de un camion de gasolina, matricula #95292 A, a 10 pies 9 pulgadas de altura del suelo (45 pies de largo X 33 pulgadas de ancho), cuando el empleado realizaba su trabajo como pesador de gasolina. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y seguro para corregir este riesgo es instalar un cable tensor como parte de un sistema personal de detencion de caidas.
