Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment
which were free from
recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious
physical harm to
employees in that temporary employees were exposed to:  moving vehicles.
(a) Job site located at the corner of Orchard Valley Drive and Woodview
Drive, in
Atlanta, Georgia 30339 - Employer failed to instruct temporary employees
in the hazards
associated with moving vehicles.
A feasible and acceptable method of abatement is to ensure that proper
instruction on the
recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions in working in and around
moving garbage trucks
be clearly communicated and translated verbally and in writing to
temporary employees.
