(part number 263-477, series L95A) was used to spray paint
flammables (including, but not limited to: butanol,xylene, hexone,
and ethyl benzene) without being electrically grounded in
accordance with the manufacturer's operations manual.
One feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to
use the grounding wire
on the paint pump that is supplied by the manufacturer and perform weekly
testing of the
electrical resistance of the fluid hoses.
