Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The
employer did not furnish
a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were
likely to cause death
or serious physical harm to employees in that employee were exposed to:
a.  On or about July 28, 1999, an employee working from a Marklift aerial
lift(self-propelled)
at the Orland Park Place jobsite was exposed to a fall due to the lack of
personal fall arrest
equipment.
Among feasible means of abatement would be to comply with the American
National Standards
Institute, ANSI A92.5-1992 Standard for Boom-supported Elevating Platforms
and have
employees wear fall arrest equipment anytime that they are in the aerial
lift.
