Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: a) Holiday Inn, Tampa, FL - An employee could be exposed to a fall of approximately 130 feet. The rope grab was incompatible for the rope that was being used. The rope grab requires a 3/4 inch rope, the rope that was being used was 5/8 inch, on or about 5/5/99.s
