employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a.  Receive injuries due to failure of lifting mechanism from a automotive
lifts, serial #
301548 and serial # T7-00245, used by employees for automotive lifting.
They were
located in a machine shop. Among other method, one feasible and acceptable
abatement
method to correct this hazard is establish periodic inspection as defined
in ANSI/ALI
B153.1-1990.
a.  Recibir lesiones debido a fallos en el mecanismo de levantar carros en
los gatos
hidraulicos serie # 301548 y serie # T7-00245, usado por los empleados
para levantar
carros.  Estaban localizados en el taller de mecanica.  Entre otros
metodos, uno seguro
y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es establecer inspecciones
periodicas segun definido
en ANSI/ALI B153.1-1990.
