ORS654.010:  The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was
safe and healthful
for employees, and did not do every other thing reasonably necessary to
protect the life, safety,
and health of the employees:
(a)  The general contractor, Michael Dennis Abbott, did not do everything
necessary to provide
a safe work place for the e subcontractor at the above site as evidenced
by; 7 employees working
on the 2nd story roof removing shingles without using a fall protection
system and a ramp that
was missing a guardrail that exposed employees to falls of approximately
16 feet 4 inches.
THIS VIOLATION WAS COMPLIED WITH AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION.ly
