Employee did not have any fall protection and was knocked out of the bucket by the high voltage line. Employee fell approximately 20 to 25 feet. Among other feasible and acceptable methods to correct this hazard are to: 1)Follow instructions in Safety Manual for Hydraulic Excavators published by Construction Industry Manaufacturers Association (CIMA) that states "Never allow anyone to ride the attachment or the load. This is an extremely dangerous practice." 2)Use proper aerial lift to lift employees to different heights.
