Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the establishment - Employees were doing their duties with no
ilumination available in the
area, they were handling documents and computers.
Among others methods, one feasible and acceptable method is to replace the
old lights and put
new ones.
Hazard: Visual fatigue and difficult in performing thier duties.
En el local - Empleados realizaban labores de oficina sin tener
iluminacion en el area, trabajaban
con documentos y de computadoras.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable es remover o reponer
las lamparas fundidas
por nuevas.
Riesgo: Fatiga visual y dificultad para desempenar sus labores.ar

At the local - Employees worked while having parts of the accustic roof
and lights cover
incorrectly positioned that may fall on employees.

position the parts.
Hazard: Injuries and contusions.
En el local - Empleados llevaban a cabo sus labores mientras habian partes
del techo acustico
y las cubiertas de las lamparas mal colocadas causando que pudieran caerse
sobre los empleados.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable es reponer y colocar
correctamente ambas
cosas.
