that did not have a anti-restart feature that would prevent the restarting
of the shear in event of
a power loss.
Work Shed - The alligator shear did not have a magnetic motor starter. The
disconnect
located on the wall was used to start and stop the alligator shear.
Among feasible means of abatement would be to comply with the National
Fire Protection
Association, NFPA 79 Section 8.14.2 - Protection.
