North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety
and Health Act of North Carolina:  The employer did not furnish to
each of his employees  conditions of employment and a place of
employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely
to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that
employees were exposed to falls:
a)Jobsite,Conveyor belt- Employees exposed to a fall
greater than 20 feet while walking up the conveyor belt.
"AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO
CORRECT THE HAZARD IS TO COMPLY WITH ANSI Standard B20.1
Section 10, PARAGRAPH (d) AND (k):
(d)"No "riding" shall be permitted on a conveyor at any
time, unless it is specifically designed to convey
passenger or the operator."
(k)"At no time should a conveyor be used for a purpose other
than the one it was designed."
