Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At project site of bridge construction at Road 156 Km 59.2 - the employer
did not provide toilet
facilities in a sanitary condition, required maintenance was not being
fulfilled.  Employees were
exposed to the hazards of transmission of illnesses from inhalation,
ingestion or absorption of
bacteria growing or viruses left on unsanitary surface.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to provide adecuate maintenance changing and/or emptying the portable
toilet frecuently.
En el sitio del proyecto de la construccion del puente en Carr 156 Km 59.2
- el patrono no
proveyo las facilidades de retrete en condiciones sanitarias, el
mantenimiento requerido no se
estaba realizando.  Empleados expuestos a los riesgos de transmision de
enfermedades por
inhalacion, ingestion o absorcion del crecimiento de o viruses dejado en
superficie insalubre.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable de corregir este
riesgo es de proveer
mantenimiento adecuado cambiando y/o vaciando el retrete portatil
