Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a. At the old nurse school building, Hospital San Lucas II, laboratories
area. The
laboratary's women toilets room present a deterioration condition in which
pieces of the
concrete ceiling are falling down. There are some holes on the concrete
ceiling that
evidence this situation. Employes are exposed to be hit by a piece of a
falling
concrete.
A feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard among others is to
repair the
ceiling.
a.  En el edificio de la antigua escuela de enfermeria, Hospital San Lucas
II, area de
laboratorio.  El bano de mujeres presenta una condicion de deterioro en la
cual pedazos
estan cayendose.  Hay algunos huecos en el techo que evidencian esta
situacion.
Empleados estan expuestos golpeados por pedazos de concreto que caigan.
Un metodo
factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo entre otros es reparar la
condicion del techo.
